yoga, coffee, rain
Early this morning Mel and I went to yoga class at Brooklyn Yoga Collective’s new studio on Franklin. Afterwards, in the spirit of trying new neighborhood spots, we got coffee at Little Zelda - now our favorite coffee shop on Franklin. The shop is quite adorable. They have delicious coffee & baked goods, green cups, and the people there are super nice.
As I arrived home Kathy called with news of a serious storm headed our way. Mendel was at Home Depot picking up a few things, so I started getting the backyard storm-ready. By the time Mendel and I were stacking up the wood, the rain had begun; when we finished we were drenched.
Mendel will be constructing the elements for the fence roof today. We’re hoping for a dry day tomorrow.
