I thought I had killed the December Rose during the great backyard debris removal. Not only did we have to cut through it’s roots that had burrowed deep through the piles of cement, but I then transplanted it to a pot that didn’t have any holes in the bottom. By the time we realized my mistake the leaves on the rose were shriveling and one bud had died. That plant is a fighter though - it now has one blossom and another bud!
